Center for the Arts

Located in Coral Springs, Florida, the Coral Springs Center for the Arts began its life as a community center when it opened in 1989. After the city realized that the demand for art was much higher than the center was able to support, it was renovated to become a museum and community theater in 1997. The center now currently displays changing exhibits from artists that are both nationally recognized, as well as local artists from Florida.

The theater seats over 1,400 people and has seen a range of performances from Broadway shows, concerts and children's entertainment. Some of the performances on the stage include the State Ballet of Russia performing "Swan Lake", The Temptations Review, performing Motown hits of the 60's, and a male string quartet known as Well-Strung, who perform classical music with a pop spin, and pop music with a classical spin.
